COURSE OVERVIEW

Study in Association with the FAMU

The intensive one-year CME Content Academy program is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation across all areas of television production. It equips students with a diverse set of skills relevant to the industry and prepares them to become well-rounded professionals in the field.

Our comprehensive approach combines hands-on training in key disciplines (directing, producing, editing, screenwriting, and sound) allowing students to discover their strengths and graduate with both practical knowledge and a rich skillset.

The program runs from October to September and is divided into five blocks, combining in-person instruction, practical experience, and self-directed learning.

The academy’s program is very intensive. In the first trimester (October to December), classes take place from Monday to Thursday in the form of in-person block teaching.

During the second trimester (January to March), students take part in practical unpaid internships, with the study schedule adapted to the project the student is working on.

This is followed by a two-month return to theoretical study (April to May), where the core part of the curriculum is reduced to two days per week; however, students are already working on their annual projects during this time (both remotely and in person with mentors).

The second internship block then takes place (June to August), followed by the final examinations in September, which conclude the program.
