Admissions

The admission process starts by filling out the online application form on the TV-I homepage. The application fee is €35.

TV-I and CME seek creative and motivated individuals with a strong personal vision. Prior experience in TV/film is not required, but those who can send in TV/ film project work have an advantage over others.

The selection process starts apr. one week after the end of the recruitment process with the formal assessment of the requirements. Candidates who aren’t accepted will be notified by email.

The pre-selection committee is composed of TV-I staff who will go through each application individually to choose the students.

The selection committee consists of the CME CA Advisory Board, TV Nova and TV Markíza professionals and TV-I management.

Entrance Requirements

1.  An essay about the applicant's life, motivation, work experiences, and desire to work in the TV industry. IN ENGLISH language.

2.  A critical essay about a current TV show/series - A short-written story /2-5 pages in Czech or Slovak language.

3.  One original fiction/nonfiction synopsis with stress on answering the fundamental questions What, How, and Why the student wants to produce this TV project (in Czech or Slovak language).

4.  An optional file: A link with samples of work – written or audio-visual samples of student´s work (scripts, synopsis, TV spots, showreels, etc.)
