What They Will Learn
Throughout the course, students develop a broad set of practical and creative competencies, including:
- Fundamentals of television expression
- Structuring entertainment formats for TV
- Working with actors and non-actors, and crafting the show’s visual style
- Preparing to lead the production process and manage creative teams
- Critical thinking, subject-matter expertise, and collaborative work
- Writing for long-running TV projects and series
- Creative writing strategies and story development
- Script editing and showrunning fundamentals
- Production and leadership skills
